First, I designed a hoodie dress and layered it with two zip-up hoodies on top of each other. It was inspired by the feeling of depression and lying around in your bed wearing your favourite hoodie.
This season I wanted to bring it back in a completely new way. I thought, “let’s make a giant double-faced zip-up hoodie dress that is fitted to the waist and has a double-ended zipper so you can play around with how you wear it.”
I wanted to take what was an iconic look from my first collection, but made for a masc-presenting model and make one for femme. Naturally, on its own, it is designed to fit slim on the waist. But using the extra-long paracord loops on the back and sides. You can cinch it in to make it look as if you were wearing a corset.
Is it a sweater? A dress? A corset? A jacket? That’s up for you to decide.
