Cinched Zip-Up Hoodie Dress

Last year I designed a hoodie dress, layered with two zip up hoodies on top of each-other. It was inspired by the feeling of depression and laying around in your bed in your favourite hoodie.

This season I wanted to bring it back in a completely new way. I thought “let’s make a giant double faced zip up hoodie dress, that is fitted to the waist and has a double ended zipper so you can play around with how you wear it.”

I wanted to take what was an iconic look from my last collection made for a masc presenting model and make one for femme. Naturally on its own, it is designed to fit slim on the waist. But using the extra long paracord loops on the back and sides. You can cinch it in to make it look as if you were wearing a corset.

Is it a sweater? A dress? A corset? A jacket? That’s up for you to decide.
