Inspired by the feeling of depression and how it makes you want to curl up in bed wearing your favourite hoodies. It started with a feeling. Throughout my life, I have struggled with my mental health in a variety of ways: depression, anxiety, and ADHD. For me, fashion design is all about feeling. When I am designing, I would be lying if I didn’t say I lost a little piece of myself in each piece. This is why I don’t do costume design. I want the item you wear to be a collaboration: my vision and life experiences projected onto you, alongside your own. This look is 3 hoodies. A sleeveless hoodie dress, once again double-faced and stacked. When wearing it, it feels like a warm hug. A sleeveless zip-up hoodie, leaning into my more punk radical look. Topped with a stacked sleeve, cropped zip-up hoodie. Heavy on the arms, representing the weight often felt in low points in your life.
